Alberta 1905-2026

After decades of successes we are sorry to report the passing of Alberta.

Friends, relatives, associates, creditors, residents, past residents, personal and corporate asset owners, non-profit organizations, sports focused organizations, and a host of others are expressing deep sorrow over the demise of what was once a superb domain.

The demise is a result of a rare disorder entitled “it is either my way or no way”. All interested organizations that were intent upon a continuing Alberta adopted this condition.

Survivors of the confederation include Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, North West Territories, Nunavut, The Yukon, and Canada.

With Alberta’s passing, Canada’s influence is drastically reduced. Many individuals, companies, organizations, and countries lose a great deal of support. With Alberta’s demise the potential of further disintegration becomes more than a possibility.

Organizations such as the European Union, the United Nations, NATO, and the World Trade Organization have lost a significant ally. Alberta was the recipient of multiple impassioned recommendations for the future.

Internally the United Conserved Party adopted a series of policies pleading for changes to a most successful pension plan. These policies included allocating some portion of the funds for unnamed purposes.

A very controversial subject was the equalization plan. The outcome of the plan was allocating funds that to elevate all Canadians to a position of equality in education, and health care. The popular Albertan view seemed to say that Alberta allocated more than their share. One cause was a lack of understanding about the equalization concept. Naysayers often extracted a part of the formula that demonstrated their objection.

This view was just one of many questions listed in the referendum, that when adopted,  destroyed the heart of Alberta.

The other provinces along with Canada could not reach an agreement on what would make Alberta feel needed and appreciated.

Canada in its own right legislated in favor of policies which were unfavorable for Alberta industry, economic growth, employment and general well-being. This was a long standing problem.

The United States was fashioning a position that would allow for annexation and integration of Alberta into their union. One can appreciate this is not universally popular. Internal factions in Alberta seemed to be promoting this idea.

External forces were using communication systems to help reject any political forces that helped to maintain a united Canada.

Presently the settlement of the estate is underway. One can expect a long and difficult task. The retirement of loans is progressing well, however Canada is faced with a reduction in debt quality due to the loss of Alberta.

A wide diversity of recommendations about Alberta’s path forward flowed in from all directions. The recommendations seemingly suggested the result would be a vastly improved future. Notably there was no indication that ALL parties would benefit.

If appropriate, gifts are welcomed in support of individual Albertans who are disadvantaged because of the reckless behaviour of organizations advocating for separation.
